Was hoping the fisher would have come down wearing diving gear at the end. ='P

The story is simple but nice, the art style is charming and adorable, the animation is nicely made, but music is sounds and music are also good.
And the mermaid flapping around and her taking the bait got a good chuckle out of me.
What I don't get though, is how didn't the bait washed away as she was taking it away, or how wasn't it floating away while she was eating it in the credits?
But those are just small beans in comparison to an overall great short.
