Reviews for "Make it Rain"

Very Nice!

I like this song, the sounds are really good. Nice flowing melody and good chord progressions, the description you've provided fits the music perfectly. But as with every song I have my opinions on some things. Generally I really like this style of music, and the sounds you have are near perfect. This is one of the best classical compositions I have heard on this site, yet I feel a few composition elements were missing, in my opinion.

The start was good, nice and empty feeling. The strings came in very strong yet quiet, set the mood well. The rest of the song had plenty of very nice progressions and the feeling remained somber and sad. The one thing I think was missing was good dynamic contrast. There really wasn't much of a climax to it. There was a climax of sort, but not really a strong emotional feeling that one would experience after loosing a son. It's really missing that one tear jerking moment, that moment in time where the father absolutely breaks down and begs the rain to mask his sorrow. This is in my opinion, other then that it is near perfection. You have a very good song here, it was beautiful. Keep it up, I'm glad to see this is 2x platinum, well deserved.

Wow, absolutely wonderful...

Well, like one oo the guys said under me, you're a master of the classical genre man, you really are. it makes my classical piece of crap look like...well, a classical piece of crap. You also deserve the 10's and whatever audio track you have now (I think 2x Platinum). Awesome man...

yet another amasing entry

u are the most talented person on ng keep up the good work you are truly amasing and have some of the best songs on ng

and I'm not just putting 10s cause it's easy~

They are well-deserved 10s. Every single part of this song is moving to the very core of me. Every time I listen to this piece, it doesn't just fit as 'background music' but instead takes over my current agenda, putting me into a mood of..well, thoughtfulness I guess. ^^ The praise this song gets is well earned. I'll continue to follow your work on NG. <3 classical/ambient. ^^

Absolutely....beautiful

One of, if not the most moving piece I have heard in all of my years cruising the audio portal. It's as if it has the power to heal the wounds of the soul and brings tears of sorrow, and at the same time comfort, to ones existence. I love the power it has over me. It's as if it's telling you to let it all out. All the hatred, anger and sorrow that one has inside of him/herself.

The choice of instruments used in this piece are wonderful and fit the title perfectly I must say. They all fit together like pieces of a puzzle, putting together this harmonic symphony of sadness and beauty. It's as if they are speaking to you and drawing out the feelings inside of you.

The tears of ones soul. If there ever was a truly epic song of sorrow this would be the one. Even if you feel that all of what I'm saying is a lot I say it's not. I've listened to this song since it came out and through the troubles I've had this year and it does all of what I've mentioned. It's very moving to me. I cannot really say anything negative or point out any faults in this piece. It is perfect in my highest opinion.

Thank you good sir for this epic masterpiece.

Thank you. It means a lot to me when I hear of someone who's affected by the music I compose. It's especially refreshing that someone has seen it for what it was truly meant to be. So many people these days treat music solely as entertainment when it was original created for something more.

Thanks for the review and the encouragement.
