This was a sudden project. It got it's start while I was playing with guitar tones and just evolved from there. Soon an array of world instruments had come to join in.

Made with Logic Pro X with Kontakt 5, Positive Grid's Bias FX and my trusty guitars

It kind of reminds me of that Black Sabbath song "Children of the Sea" but its still awesome.

Biggyzoom responds:

You flatter me, sir.

if I just copy paste the review below me, that's pretty much all I want to say about this. The ambient feel of this track completely takes over my ears early on in the song and takes me to a different worlds. Its really rare that someone on newgrounds are able to put together so many different instruments without it sounding too messy and random. I've tried to mix electronic sounds with accoustic ones like you do in this track, but I've never been able to do it this well. You are really good at knowing when certain instruments should come in. This is a talent all great composers have, and you are certainly one of them

This track might be my favourite of all the tracks this round. Great work :D. Keep it up :)

It is hard to keep that in words. You used many different instruments and holy feckhole you did it well!
One thing that compositions often do wrong is overusing instruments or at least too many instruments playing not in a melody together. Just look at Mozart, he mostly used Cello, Viola, instruments which have near the same basic structure. But you just took so many together.

The guitar is well played, the electronics are not overused and well, what can I say but those great drums are fecking great!? Seriously for some people that may be too much but don't worry, you did great.

When the pan flute came in I almost lost my shit, you have really a feeling when things should get in a song. It's so flowing that you don't even recognize when it comes in. Even the kalimba, DUDE! Carry on! I'd love to hear more from you!

So the Bridge in 2:20 is well placed, maybe there's something you could change there but it's good man it's good. When the second Guitar kicks in I rly lost my shit because dude, I mean I'm a guitarist for like 5 years or smth. and I just love it when someone plays the guitar soooo well.

After 3:30 I just sit here, stopped working and listened to your song totally. You srsly have a hand for those kind of songs. I'm impressed. No really man, I am fucking impressed!

You did a unique song, you get on that list, you are good, carry on.

Biggyzoom responds:

Cheers man, thanks for the very in-depth review.

The instrumentation is quite good. However, I feel that the 'world' instruments, as you called them, effectively drowned out the guitar riff, making it kind of useless in the song proper. If I were you, I'd have just taken out the guitar during the more worldy breakdowns.

At the same time, the guitar riff itself was a bit too repetitive and bland for my tastes, the song really is carried by the instruments you laid on top of it.

Just my two cents.

Biggyzoom responds:

Thanks for the feedback!
