RATBASTERDZ: STRAW DUCKS

This is a song I worked on for episode 3 of RatBasterdz!! I had a lot of fun writing it, and was very pleased and grateful to be apart of the project. If you haven't watched it, check it out! For this song, Jon wanted me to write a cheesy country song that had a demented or "off" sound, like Fuck Authority by GG Allin. This is my kinda shit. I initially ran through a couple of demos over a couple months, until i finally settled on a simple country E for the majority of the song before it goes into punk power chords. I purchased a pedal steel guitar during production when i previously was limited to a bottle neck slide, and it sounds awesome on this song, and have been loving using it for other songs. The lyrics are pretty silly, and only the first half is used, but you can read them below:

I flew out to Charlotte for the premiere and had a ton of fun, maybe the best concert experience I've had in a minute/ever. It's so cool seeing a true community event especially another great project from Newgrounds. Everyone there was an angel and I cherished my time with them! Go to the next one, I'm only writing this to guilt Jon into keep doing them for everyone, it's a lot of work, but its 2 fuckin' d0pe. Thank you for the opportunity @jonathan !!!!!
