Well this has been quite a ride! Meeting Stuart and becoming friends on YouTube, we decided to try and create a collab, Stu being from Nottingham, England and myself with my beloved wife Evička (Eva Pokorná) from a city called České Budějovice in The Czech Republic. We've both posted our own version of the song The Wayfaring Stranger in the past, so we decided to pick this traditional folk song for our collab as we all enjoy it.
Stuart created the main recording, sent me his best take and I then added vocals, piano and other instruments and effects in Cubase. My wife Evička also added vocal harmonies and a beautiful violin solo for which Stuart prepared a nice spot in the song. We recorded a video afterwards to go along with our recordings and Stuart's awesome performance and finally I put the whole thing together in Sony Vegas software.
And now it's time to share it with the world 🙂
