Welcome back, everybody! It's day 6 of Jamuary! Sorry about the break, I just really needed to clear my head and try to piece something together that's more substantial than what I was going to put out the day prior. I know it's a challenge for a reason, but sheesh! I can't work under all this pressure!
But that aside, I made a nice dungeon theme for you all! It's inspired by Super Metroid and the Metroidvania genre itself, I guess. I wanted to emulate that kind of dark and unexplored underground feel with this one, and I think I got it pretty spot on.

Ayo do you have the link for this? I am really good at the instruments on this software and I could do the melodies justice. In other words, I'd like to remix it and send it to you or post it, whichever you prefer.
Didn't like the beginning so much at first, but after listening to the whole song I think it works well.

Yeah I can understand why you would go on a break, quality over quantity and also personal life. Have nothing against that. Just, the mixing here is not great, and also the samples don't fit each other *that well*, I feel like it could be solid, but nothing special. There's certainly not much wrong with this one overall, the composition definitely took a lot of time, which it shows (in some regards), but overall -eeeh not the best not the worst

That's fair, I suppose. It is a backlog track from a fairly long time ago - like about a year or more - so it's not exactly reflective of my current quality. I do sincerely recommend checking out some of my other songs as well, if you're interested.
We'll get them next time I guess lol
