I was messing around with an ancient free VST called daHornet, and was quite unimpressed with its sound. The sound is very gritty, dirty, cheap sounding.

I was close to just deleting the plugin and moving on, I came up with a gritty chord sound and decided to embrace the dirtiness and try to make something with it. I came up with this sort of 90s deep breakcore thing in 5/4 time. Uses subtle bit crushing on basically everything, then ran it through Chow Tape on the master for the final touch.
