This art is very interesting and detailed I like it a lot! The only thing I see that needs improvement is the lightning and maybe less saturated colour but I know that that colour choice was not there for nothing, it gives a vibe!

i actually did try desaturating the colours before to see if i'd like it better, but in the end i felt like having more saturated colours was the more "magical surreal" way to go and desaturating them made that feeling get lost. but i can totally understand why some would think i should have gone desaturated as well.
i can also understand your point about the lighting as well. it's super glowy, which is what i wanted, but there's probably a better way i could learn to go about it, i think.

i agree. i was hugely skeptical of joining NG at first because i thought my art wouldn't really fit here since i'm mainly a painter than a cartoon-styled artist, but i've been having a pretty good time here.
