I finished watching Perfect Blue at the end of May, but it took me until now to complete the illustration. Thankfully, I didn’t let it drag on until the new year. I really love the details in Mima’s room, but because there are so many intricate elements, I spent quite a bit of time researching the layout. To balance the composition, I also simplified quite a lot in the process.
