Georgia through a Window

A friend asked for an illustration of what his girlfriend's view is from her apartment in Georgia (the nation not the US state).

Done in watercolor on a board with pen linework on top. Also, a tiny touch of glitter ink used in the sky, not that that's visible in a photo.

The process was:
Pencil lines
Ink/watercolor work
Pen lines

And I did it on a matte board rather than paper. I'm absolutely awful at properly stretching paper for watercolor, so I've just started working with heavier canvases.

Add Suliko playing on background

I was unfamiliar, so I looked up "Suliko." Found an artist by that name, enjoyed them though I couldn't understand the lyrics. Then listened to the song "Suliko" which I assume is the one you meant me to hear.

Definitely sad, but a pretty song and I see why you suggest it. Plus it was a nice excuse to briefly read up on a subject. So thank you for that!
