This would be a real good time to know what a Game Jam is. Always eye candy to see your style, Butz
Poster time, again!
Here's a little poster I made to promote one of the Global Game Jam locations here in Santiago, Chile. This is a unique edition of the event, since it is the first time its done in online form due to human-planetary events. Despite being online it is still focused on locations, so if you'd like to join in look for your nearest one H E R E: https://globalgamejam.org/
This is the 5th poster I make for this event with this party of characters joining forces to make a game. In previous ones I used to reference a specific game/game genre, but this time I just liked the idea of going back to basics with each character doing their thing from their respective rooms, just as we do nowadays.
Hey thanks for Frontpage NG!! :)

Thanks! , And about Game Jams, sure! I can give you my short version:
Game jams are brief events (usually a weekend long, such as this one, sometimes longer than that) where participants join in to make a game in that brief time, with the main roles such as programming, art, sound/music, design, etc. At the start of this Game Jam a theme is revealed so that it serves as the inspiration for the team to make the game (themes such as 'transmission', 'waves', 'ritual', etc.), and by the end of the given time, all games are uploaded for participants and anyone interested to try out!
And that's the general idea, these are great events because they challenge you to start from scratch with a new idea, and you see it hopefully turn into a playable protoype by the end of the event, I recommend it to anyone who'd like to start making games and are in need for a push to give it a try, it's good to also form teams with new people and it's also great if you've already made games and are looking for something that can motivate you creatively.
Hope that helps! :)
This was posted on my Birthday.
